Bromsgrove District Council has launched its 2026 Heritage Open Days programme, inviting residents and visitors to explore local history through a 10-day festival of free events, tours, exhibitions, talks and activities.
Heritage buildings, community organisations and local attractions across the district will open their doors for the annual celebration of history, culture and community.
Heritage Hunters Competition
Those who attend three or more events can enter the Heritage Hunters competition for the chance to win prizes.
What to Expect
The programme offers opportunities to discover hidden history, visit buildings not usually open to the public, and learn about the people and places that have shaped Bromsgrove borough.
Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, Leisure and Culture Cllr Shirley Webb said: "Every year Heritage Open Days gives us the chance to see familiar places in a completely new way. From fascinating tours and talks to hidden buildings that aren't usually open to the public, there are so many unique experiences to enjoy. I can't wait to see residents getting involved and exploring everything this year's programme has to offer."

Free printed Heritage Open Days 2026 booklets are available to collect from locations across the district.
